Green Offices Project: Educate

We are proud to be one of the only Earth Hour supporters on a global level. In 2009, we turned off our lights across more than 100,000 square metres of office space across our global network of offices in 25 cities, in 14 countries around the world!

The Green Offices Project’s third area of focus is to educate our teams, our clients and our business partners in the many ways in which we can all reduce and offset our day-to-day impact on the environment.

Servcorp believes that clients value the Green Office Project and its contribution to the future. We believe that they appreciate working with a business partner who is committed to supporting the community and the planet with responsible corporate measures.

Earth Hour

One of the key components of our education focus is our participation and global support of Earth Hour. We began our support for Earth Hour in its inaugural year, 2007, by turning all our lights off across all our locations in Sydney. The following year we showed our commitment to the Earth Hour message by turning our lights off at all our locations across Australia. In 2009, Servcorp was one of the only corporate supporters of Earth Hour on a global level! We turned our lights off and asked our clients to turn their lights off at home and in their other offices across our entire global network of offices.

We believe that Earth Hour is a great way to increase awareness and action towards being more environmentally responsible. Through Earth Hour, Servcorp is working towards educating clients about our environmental commitment and aiming to help our clients’ businesses become more sustainable.
